an international Money order- or Visa card (perhaps an international
fee added)???
Last time I checked with this type of ordering-- a so called
International money order had a 30% fee involved-- but I can no
longer wait for these parts, as I must get these cars rolling,, and
UK parts sources are the answer for me....
But I am confused about the cheapest way to pay for these needed
parts... since this is the first time for me to do this---
Any advise would be appreciated...... Easy and Cheap

We Brits live on an island and exporting is something we do every day.
I produce videos and also breed gundogs. I have shipped the dogs to over 27
countries worldwide over the last 30 years or so and have never experienced
any major problems. I didn't do a count for the videos but losses have
probably been a fraction of one per cent..
We will accept money in most forms you care to send it to us and we depend on
our good reputation for honesty to continue this export trade. For
simplicity, speed, and ease, I'd recommend payment by credit card. Most
companies except the smallest will accept all the major credit cards,
including Amex. I am a one man band and accept payment by credit card.
You could also do a bank transfer but in my experience the banks always add
their fee, sometimes at both ends. You could also purchase a bank draft in
sterling. Or if the amount is large and you feel there is a risk, pay by
Letter of Credit (very expensive). Why don't you call the company and ask
which method they prefer? For small items, I'd use regular mail. You could
also use a carrier, say DHL, but my recent experiences with Securicor were
disastrous (never again!). Can't say I have had any major problems shipping
by British Airways World Cargo over the last 25 years.
If you want to give a few more details, I'd be pleased to help if I can.
