I use a credit card for overseas purchases, so that I can refuse to pay the
credit card company if I get stiffed by the overseas supplier.
At the moment I'm having a terrible time with a UK Peugeot supplier who sent
me the wrong part number. My mechanic and I telephoned him transatlantic
and he told us to give the part a shot anyway. My mechanic said it wasn't
possible (why should I waste labor charges on the wrong part?) and we got
the right part elsewhere. I sent the part back - unopened - and haven't
heard from him since about a refund. He isn't answering my emails. VERY
bad experience - and I'd bought a lot of parts from this fellow before.
I'll reveal his name in due course.............

I've made several purchases from the UK, Peugeot and other (via email or
web site); including one return. I just used the Visa card. Paypal may
also be an option.
