Although there is no ability for a direct compare between a De Lorean, a
Renault A310 and a Tagora SX - in case of needing an engine I would prefer
one of the first named models but not a Tagora SX.
Why ? In my opinion the worth of a thing like a car is not only related by
his image but especially by his rareness. When we speak about a Talbot
Tagora SX we speak about a car Peugeot-Talbot could sale not even 300 times
    over here in Germany.

At least I would like to warn everybody mounting the Tagora-SX-engine -
there are several items that are not equal to other PRV6-engines and may
cause greater problems in organizing. More than 6 years ago I tried to find
an original airfilter for the Tagora SX - and was earlier able to serve with
the complete airfilter than it was possible to find the single filter.
Although the carburators are also mounted at the Porsche 911 there are
several items specially made to fit them to the Tagora V6.

    Subject: From Stan. - Tagora

    Hello there,

I had an email of a person interested in a Tagora lately.
Unfortunately things showed that this man was not interested in the car
    itself but the engine only.

To make things clear I'm not going to sell away a V6 PRV engine 2664cc
with a triple throat carb to fit into another car.
The Talbot Tagora SX had its own design and personality.
The Alpine people who are looking for parts occasionally have a look for
the 2.6; so there is no way I'm going to serve them.
Tagora SX are scarce and reliable.
I have people in France or in Switzerland who are willing to give away
their car for some kind of money.

Of course it could be different story for the N9T as we have many parts
in France. Jürgen from Germany would agree with me.
But if you want a full-bodied Tagora 2.2, 2.3 or 2.6, in France or in
North America, feel free to contact me.

    Stan. Orand
