Subject: Peugeot US reintro presentation study
I owned and drove Peugeot from 1975-2000 in Texas and Washington, DC area. They are a pleasure to drive and a royal pain to keep going, require too much and constant service; PSA does not listen to owners, dealers, distributors or anyone else (it took nine years to get a decent radio by US requirements after several top dealers pleaded for it again and again, including when visiting corporate in France and I could go on and on) ; any comparison of a 607 with similarly priced competition from Toyota-Lexus, Nissan-Infinity, Honda and its premium badge, Mercedes and BMW and Audi and you wonder where PSA's brains are.
Drive a Hyundai Elanta and you will see how much of a hill Peugeot would have to climb to make it work in the United States.
