    Jürgen,

The Murena is great, and I love the Bagheera too. Hang onto it - it
is a classic. They look very good too. Do you need the parts
microfiche for that car? I have one in German for the
    Bagheera/Murena from about 1985.

About what a modern sports car is, I look to things such as the new
smart roadster, available from April 2003. It's light, not very
    fast, but super-agile, ultra-economical and wild-looking. Rather
like a Fiat X1/9 for this decade. I want one. In fact, there is a
chance that this French-made sports car will come to Canada in the
next year or so - I sure hope so. Still, it is a German car, but
that's OK, it's probably better for it.

You are also right about the marginalising of the coupé market - that
is a damned shame, as some of the best-looking cars ever were
coupés. The almighty dollar takes precedence over every other
consideration these days it seems. Sometimes I wish for the
automotive passion that was far more common in the 1960s.
