If my memory serves me right, this has been documented before (search
through the archives).
The common earthing point is in the other rear light. If it hasn't been
"fixed" and is still riveted, you should drill out the rivet and use a
nut & bolt to get a better connection. (the rivet loses tension over
time)

* Pulled the left rear assembly out at dusk to find the offending bulb.

* Put back bulb (until I get to the parts store), snap board back in

reattach connector socket, put assembly back on fender; now NONE of the
bulbs
light up, AND one of the truck lid lights is out too. WOO HOO! Only a
Peugeot!
