Yellow is not legal but permitted (not really) in France.
Hit the road in the country last week and have seen a few cars handling
    these.
When you're on the highways white lights are a bit harsh when you cross
another vehicle especially on left and right turns. Noticed that Citroen
C5 and new Peugeot are hard to deal with when face to face.

When I came back with my Tagora SX picked up in Toulouse last week, I
drove with yellow lights and realized how fun it was back then to drive
along the tough and tiny roads without any further vision than the one
displayed thru the yellow bulbs...I'd say that the Full Moon helped
occasionally...And the Tagora SX 2.6 has 4 brake discs that help
especially when you switch from 4th to 2nd.

    Stan.

100/80 watt bulbs (overwatt) can NOT have a European certification, for
    off-road use only!
    BTW Osram, etc. all have legal yellow, semi yellow and blue bulbs;
    yellow
not permitted in Germany, US, ... But OK in France, UK...
High tech legal wattage bulbs include Osram Silver Star and Philips
    Vision
    Plus (?)
Blue is NOT better than white, Yellow is better in poor weather
    conditions.
Overwatts should not be used in plastic headlights

    Regards,
    Ahmad
