    There is no fuse for the "tach sensor", but there is for the tachometer.
    True, other accessories might be on that fuse.

    Why not just check them anyway, there aren't that many and it takes zero
    time to check.

    Whenever you are diagnosing an electrical problem, it doesn't hurt to rule
    out simple things like fuses, etc.

    The speed sensor used for the tach is not the same one used by the EGR
    system.
