Any Talbot engine sold in France can use unloaded gas (that I found
somewhere). All models, including Murena, Rancho, Samba, Solara,
    Tagora...
    "Rouler au sans-plomb"

Guess this one was a Peugeot engine, not a Talbot.
Check out this link and compare engines and models.

    Objet : [Peugeot-L] Which fuel??

    Hi,
Does anyone know whether my 1984 Talbot Express van (which has a
1971cc Peugeot petrol engine) can run on unleaded fuel?
I've been told by a reliable source that this engine was made with
    hardened valve seats as standard.
At the moment I'm running it on LRP but it pops and bangs in the
exhaust on the overrun, so I'd like to switch to unleaded fuel but I
don't know which way to change the ignition timing or by how much.
    Thanks for any help.
