That's a very interesting rumour and it seems to be a lot more
credible than some of the previous stuff.
I hope it's true - we sure could use a wider choice in cars here in
North America, where anything remotely interesting at the moment
usually costs over $30K.
So if the PSA brain trust is reading this, let me write that they
should also bring back Citroën at the same time. As I recommended a
week or so ago, I'd like to see the C3/Pluriel over here as well as
the C6 when it's released. This would attract even more people to
Peugeot showrooms because Citroën has always had a certain flair that
Peugeot lacked, and it's still true today.
I agree with Reiner that we should start hearing more about this by
spring 2003 if it's for real. Setting up a dealer network is bound
to generate rumours in North America too.
