One problem I foresee is that the exit from the US was‹as reported in the US

one small dealer that had been shall we say urged to upgrade his showroom
facilities and parts inventory, a mid six figures expenditure, when Peugeot
USA knew that the end was near. Not cricket.
The other problem of course is CAFE. Peugeot will not be able to compete on
price in the high fule economy arena where other manufacturers give away a
small car at cost to balance the fuel economy number on the gas guzzler they
make $17,000 on.
And yes, a return by Citroen is a lot more exciting to me than by Peugeot.
