Over where Im at (southern Illinois) there is no inspection - you see 25 +
year old pickups on the road beat, and rusted bad. Friend drives a old 77 Ford ,
thats so rusty the floors are patched (if they werent , can you say
Flintstones ?) and the column shift sometimes jambs (the cab is sinking in on the
frame, causing linkage problems) - if anyone bought this truck , just go to the
licence office, order new plates, and have the title switched . Most people here
have newer cars (this new easier financing these days makes it easy to get a
newer car with little down) ,
sounds like in the UK, dont get attached to a car ! Ive had my GTO since
    1993, my Grandvilles since 1992 , and my 505 almost 3 years .
