My 505 turbo is quite reliable as well. Although I'm a Toyota guy, I
have a very strong Peugeot side.
Although I agree with you that today's Toyotas are pretty soul-less, but
that wasn't always the case. The MKIII & MKIV Supras are stunning cars
that Peugeot has not eclipsed in nearly any way. Regrettably, they
killed the car off as did all Japanese manufacturers did with their
premier sports cars. If your view of Toyota are Camry and Corolla
people-movers, then that's your loss.
It never diminishes my love for my 505. Rather, what I've learned from
the Toyotas I own I apply to my Peugeot.

I would drive a TOyota, but the odds are I would fall asleep while
driving it, or loose it in a parking lot in a sea of other boring
soul-less cars.
FYI Toyota guy, my 505 has been the model of reliablity, and is rust
