Same point that my 405 is at right now. More or less, because
actually it's approaching 330,000 km (205,000 miles). When the 405
was first in my possession 11 years back, I thought it was a lemon.
Everything was failing, but it was all rectified under warranty and
since ~80,000 km, with a few minor hiccups, it's been smooth sailing.
So 250,000 more or less problem-free km is pretty decent. I've done
nothing much more than normal maintenance since then.
Mine does burn some oil (always has, 0.5 L/1000 km now) and the RH
side of the car looks like it has light RPG damage courtesy of a
wayward SUV, but overall it's been a joy to own, rattles lousy seats
and all.
