Koll,
Too bad you guys in the US didn't get the ZEJK engine. I heard rumours that PSA was giving the taxi drivers in France 500,000 km warranties on the engine....never seen anything in writing to back it up, but have a number of these engines that have done 300,000 km + over 20 years, which I believe to be a lot harder on an engine because there would be a lot more cold starts, short trips, and probably less frequent oil changes.
BTW, has your car got the double door seals? Most only have the seal around the door frame, but the V6s have an extra seal around the door itself.

Well, the 3YC & 4YC engines in the old Toyota vans are used in sedans in
Japanese taxis. They are 400K+ mile engines. Because access so awful
they stuck the most reliable engine they had in there. It's like
Toyotas XN6. I don't know if the toastervan can even do 100.
That's kind of a non-starter. All but the lamest engines will last a
loooong time fully warmed up and operational.
Oh yeah, I was on the freeway listening to Beethoven's 6th and was
annoyed by the wind whistle at anything over 50MPH. Grrr... Things are
pretty silent in my old 85 Cress at highway speeds.
I nit-pick because I know focusing on the problem issues will give me a
better car. Anybody know where to source door seals? I'm thinking
aftermarket. I don't remember seeing them available on W-H's online
catalog.
505 still kicks butt in rainstorm!
