    They haven't quit with Bosch yet. There (at least) has been lot of
    Bosch parts in the modern Peugeots for example the infamous diesel-
    pump. That broke down on all the early facelifted 406 HDI's. That
    supplier has already changed and the new supplier is Siemens.
    Siemens really works.

    ZF automatic transmissions they already ditched and they went for
    japanese Aisin.

    Front wheel drive is the future. It is safer.

    They have not abandoned Pininfarina. Current 407 design was chosen
    among several candidates (including Pininfarina) they decided to go
    for the most 'radical' design this time.
    I think Pininfarina is used again when 407 gets facelift, just to
    give different look not because there is something wrong with the
    contemporary model.
