    If it is in a non stress area and you merely are stopping the fluid
    from leaking, drain it thoroughly (!) take carb cleaner (aerosol can)
    and clean the crack. It might be adviseable to chuck a carbide in a
    Dremel tool and "V" cut the crack some. Then mix up some JBWeld epoxy
    and fill the crack after making sure no oil is wetting the repair
    area. Make sure it cures in a warm shop 24 hrs before operation. The
    key here being sure you have clean alloy for the epoxy to bond to!
