       I am almost embarrassed to volunteer it, but on my old STX
    eons ago, I did something really dumb that caused juddering.

       I went to wash the car, and found the carwash bottle empty.
    Right next to it on the shelf was a bottle of Murphy's Oil Soap. For
    some reason, I checked the label and it listed cars. Soap is
    soap, right? Wrong.

       I tried every cleaner that I could think of to try and fix it, pretty
    much to no avail. I was able to minimize the juddering by using
    Rain-X periodically. That seemed to reduce the friction.
