I would like to point out that Mutlnomah County (Portland's county) is
amongst the most liberal in the nation. So, at the very least your
sentiments are well represented.

I know I'm going WAY off topic here, but I have to share... I saw a
bumper sticker in town a few month's back that read, "Marxists get
crazy laid." At least it is car related, and I could even fib and say
I saw it on the back of a Peugeot (it was a Volvo, of course).
