I've been to Thailand many times and always see quite a few 505s, all
sedans, no wagons imported to my knowledge, all XN6 powered, mostly 5-
spds. Some are private taxis in Phuket. Not too many 504s, again, no
wagons. Gas prices in Thailand now about the same as USA, so the XN6
being the thirsty motor that it is, they might be put out to pasture,
or driven much less. Never seen a diesel sedan there. Peugeot is still
a presence in Thailand but the high import duties on (completely built
up, not assembled in Thailand) imported cars means the new Peugeots
are double what they would cost in Europe.

My last trip I bought a set of new reproduction euro lights for my 505
at a parts dealer for about $25/each. Not great quality, but look alot
better than US spec lights, brighter too.
