That's an awesome story. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. Once
again the 405 seems like a car worth driving. What kind of horse power does
it have to take on the Himalayas? My 1981 505s Turbo Diesel only really
shines on the down hill stretches. The engine is doing better all the time.
Lately I have done the Italian tune-up, changed the fuel filters, adjusted
the valves, torqued the head and a as advised I now drive It like I stole
it. All done at minimal expense. The mountains in our backyard are called
the Sangre de Christos, They are around 10,000 feet ~ 3000 meters above sea
level. This Peugeot lives in New Mexico, USA. I think the car is lonely, I
am pissed that this government can't find a reason to import French cars,
just goes to show what jerks we Americans are.
    Anyway nice driving story.
