Unfortunately, in Mexico you cannot purchase a diesel Peugeot of any kind. Heck, you can't even buy a Jetta diesel there - even though they make them there.

Mexico used to discourage diesel passenger cars, I wonder if that has changed.
Can you imagine how far a 107 TD could go on a gallon?

I just returned from Cancun where I found the Peugeot dealership to be
stocked with fantiastic new cars. The 307 and 407 models are sexy
hardtop-convertibles. I managed to get a salesman to come out to our
hotel and give us a test drive. The price is a bit high but where else
can you buy one.
I live in Baja California and could own one here but the closest
dealer is in Chihuahua, about 2 days drive from here. Maybe someday
there will be a new Peugeot in my garage.
