Geoff--
Do you still have your Rover 75? I know where there is, or was, on
in a junkyard. It may have gone to the crusher, the price of
aluminum being what it is.

cost, freight brokerage in Australia, customs brokerage in US,
trucking from LA to Santa Cruz, etc etc it cost me about $2500 to get
it from the Australian dock to my driveway. Pretty painless
experience overall, just a lot of complexity. I don't know how the
costs have changed since then; I would assume upward. This was a
roll-on-roll-off shipment; if you can arrange for the car to be
containerized that could be cheaper.
