I think the UK is the only country in Europe where
it's more. The last time I was there (February),
filling up my dad's Saab 9-3, it was £1.05 for 94
octane unleaded, and £1.10. I believe it was the
reverse a year or two ago. His car was at a little
under 1/2 full and it took £45 to fill it ($90 at
current exchange rates).
I won't complain about the $64 it took to fill my 9-5
wagon from "Low fuel" light levels, yesterday.
