Re: Deflection to Volvos?

Sorry - had to respond... :)
While it is true the daily driver has turned into a newer AWD Volvo wagon, I can assure you that I'm probably doing more with my Peugeot's in the last few months than in all the years I've had them previously. (And I was pretty active - just didn't actually modify or restore them like I'm doing now.)
I'll be posting an update from the weekend race school when I get some time (LONG story but truely fantastic! You'll find out why Bob Bruce is my new hero!), but I just completed a 1400 km round trip in my recently resurrected 504 SL sedan, where I did a three day race school. I'm also in the process of extensively modifying my 505 Turbo into a monster sport sedan that should lay waste to much more modern sport sedans.
So while they're no longer daily drivers, they've earned the enviable spot of now being in line for cosmetic and mechanical overhauling. The 504 is pretty much done on the mechanical side, and so now over time I'll be getting it into nice cosmetic shape. It's going to be a long road to get them the way I want them - but that's the nice thing when you just have them for the love of the car and not as a necessity.

Didnıt mean to give you a hard time, but Iım relieved your still covered!
Thatıs understandable. I was worried about a deflection to volvo like rabin
& Lill. Youıve got a year on me, and probably more storage space.
I was among the group that visited Stefan Ides last Sunday. Wish my wife
joined me so she could see how conservative Iıve been in stockpiling; then
again, it might have concerned her about what could easily happen. I still
need to get the XN6 block I picked up out of the wagon into the storage shed
before she sees it!
