After leaving the car (1985 505s, XN6) idle for a week, I drove to a place
with a lift and replaced the fuel filter, in an attempt to narrow down a
fueling problem. When I got home, I noticed the car was rather hot. The fans
were not working! I'd just fixed them last year, with a new brush on the
mechanical fan. The electric one always worked. Now, the only fan activation
is via the a/c switch. I bypassed the thermo-switch, no-go. I checked the
fuse, thats good too. What else is there? A relay somewhere?
