The guy is Saab is Hector, and he is truly a great Peugeot Mechanic. But so is Tom in Shady Side. Tom is far away, but he has lots of time to work on peugeots.
Hector is closeby, but he has little time on weekdays to get to his home garage stuff.
Actually Hector takes his own peugeot cars to Tom for major repairs! :)
They both worked at mid-town motors i believe many years ago.

Hey guys,
For those of you in the DC area who still have Peugeots, I wanted to
let you know that I was able to get a hold of a Peugeot mechanic who
used to work at the Peugeot dealer in VA 10 years ago. He now works for
a SAAB dealer in the area. He came and looked at my car (86, 505 NX6)
and he obviously KNOWS his stuff. I am supposed to get back to him for
the repairs that need to be done on my car and if some of you guys need
some repairs, contact me off list and let me know what you want to have
done on your car, with make model and all that good stuff. You will
have to buy your own parts since he doesn't have any in stock anymore,
he sadly threw all of them away about 2 years ago. If your car is not
running, you will have to tow it. He will work on your car on his spare
time but this guy is good so contact me with your info and I will talk
to him and possibly he will contact you guys. I am definetely getting
my car fixed by him so just some info I thought I'd share.
