Awesome Paul! You truly are a 405 Mi16 lover man. I sometimes miss
mine, but I had it for 7.5 years, so I was done. Once I got that big
BMW V8, I just couldn't daily drive the Mi16 anymore. Still, I don't
think I've seen 4 or 5 of them since I sold mine in April 05. (Wow,
has it been that long?)
The photo with the caption "What kind of VW is this?" is called a
Volkswagen SP2. Produced by Volkswagen of Brazil, styled and
designed completely in-house (Brazilia). It is a beautiful
car. Hemmings Sport and Import Car magazine had an article on one a
few months back. I used to pine over one back in the mid-90s when I
had my Corrado VR6....of which, I see you saw a pristine one there at
the show. Nice. They are great cars. (I have a Golf R32 now.)
