No I am dead serious, the 504 C is still a very clean, handsome design
but a little too Bauhaus for me now. It's very 604-like. Clean but not
stunning. Yes, I've seen LOTS in person! The 404 C is far better.
And the other thing is, the Europeans seem to agree with me. Ten years
ago, a 504 C commanded a ~20-30% price premium over the closest
equivalent 404 C. Now the 404 Coupé is worth 7% more than the 504
Coupé. The 404 Cabriolet is worth 22% more than the 504 Cabriolet.
