remove the shifter, drill holes closer to the pivots on the external arms on
the tranny and move the shiftrods.
Lengthen the end of the shifter below the pivot, shorten it above the pivot.
Tadahh! A toggle switch shifter (thanks to J. Grubbs for the idea). I hope
the synchronizers can keep up.
