Info from Jarmo Halsema... 1) remove headlamp unit by making one side of front bumper loose.   2) when using heatgun (or hairdryer) to heaten the glue between lens and unit use a sharp knife to cut trough the glue.  During this you can pull gently the glass away. If the glass is totally ruined, use tape so the glass-pieces are stick together by the tape.   3) remove all glue pieces from unit (and protect mirror so no glue particles may fall into it, I used paper around the mirror).   4) I used the Volvo items to glue and prepare the lens      - 1161377   (glue)(some kind of sillicon) - 1161721   (cleaner)     - 1161514   (glass activator)     - 1161515   (glass primer)     Use the cleaner to clean unit in which you spray the glue and to clean the part of glass on which the glue will touch.  Than use activator on the glass part on which contact is made and than the primer. Then fill the unit with the glue but not that much it will overflow.   5) place glass on the unit and use the clips that came with the lens to hold the two parts...and let it dry for 12hrs.  Than cut away the glue which has come out of the house.     Remove some clips so the rubbercover above the unit fits again perfectly...otherwise you will notice when you closed the hood that the rubber is not the same as on the other side.     However you can always remove them later...as I did...you can do that easy afterwards.   I waited 10 hrs before placing it back but left the car inside that night so it was not driven.  And no leaks or whatsover visible.  So I did a great job.   You can also ask your dealer to print out these instructions (it was +5 pages but with pictures thus not only text).
